Lexi has been working on a photo documentary project with the USA Wheelchair Rugby team since January 2017, shortly after their return from the Rio Paralympics.
By following the team for four years to Tokyo 2020, she plans to amass photos of the team through every stage: practice, triumph, failure, heartbreak, success and celebration, among others. Through photos, and eventually, a book, she is looking to highlight the dedication, hard work and abilities of these athletes through their sport while bringing attention to adaptive sports and their affect on individuals.
